What do you do when you are new to a community and have an urgent issue and everywhere you call people are saying, "we can fit you in sometime next year"? ... You keep calling. Zephyr's initial response was the same, but when I explained the situation more fully to the receptionist, she compassionately said, "let me see what I can do." Issue: New floors being put into the Master Bedroom (another company) and found sub-flooring rotten and dry rot on structural members below. I kept on calling, but 45 minutes later I went upstairs to see how things were going and there was a gentleman from Zephyr there (came in with the flooring workers) on the phone talking to their estimator. We discussed the situation further and he recognized that we couldn't live with a hole in the floor until winter. By that afternoon, I had a very reasonable estimate signed and work began and ended on the next business day. Zephyr made a gap in their schedule and fixed the problem before many other contractors returned my call to say, "next springtime we can fit you in." I am nothing but pleased. This was above and beyond.
