I highly recommend Zephyr Thomas employees and their work. I needed a custom exterior door for a 1910 house. Daryel, the salesman, and I worked through several options (such as figuring out how to handle the transom and the type of door) before settling on a great plan. Very pleased with the replacement of our deteriorated deck. Josh was very sympathetic about the poor condition and construction done by the previous contractor. He pushed for an earlier date so that we could enjoy the last few weeks of summer on it. He also gave us good suggestions to give a more modern look. For Zephyr-Thomas no job is too small not be done well! I had difficulty finding a contractor willing to add vinyl porch and step railing to my house. Some were “too busy” others said “code doesn’t require step railing” another said “I don’t have a mason to remodel your existing porch columns for railing - if you can get one give us a call.” But the estimator for Zephyr Thomas talked to us about what we wanted - gave us a very reasonable estimate and quickly arranged for construction. In 2013, Zephyr Thomas built a 2-room sunroom & pool room addition to my house. They did an excellent job. Recently, l noticed that one of the windows had a broken seal & we were getting condensation on the inside. I called Zephyr Thomas & explained the problem. John May came out, looked at the window & measured it, then said he’d order a replacement window & put it in. Yesterday, two workers came out, removed the leaky window & put the new one in. They were quick, thorough, and professional and did an excellent job.

I've used Zephyr Thomas for a couple of projects (windows, two patio doors and they sheathed the trim on my garage with aluminum) and can say without reservation these guys do a great job. They pay attention to quality and details, true craftsmanship. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right, you can probably find cheaper but you probably won't find better. I would say book your project early they are super busy and you will probably be a few weeks out at least that was my experience.

Roofers were professional and courteous. They restored storm damaged facia. As a courtesy, they also repaired existing roofing that they noticed was not done correctly by another roofing company several years prior. Zephyr takes pride in doing a job right and as if it were their own home.

Had Dave and James out today replacing our sliding glass patio door and front storm door with ProVia doors. Couldn’t have had a better experience. James was able to make all the door locks the same key. They also used the cortex screws and plugs that i had asked them to use upon replacing the brick molding without a hassle. I am enclosing a separate check with the request you divide it equally between the two men who installed my windows. Not only did they do an excellent job, but they did it under adverse weather conditions. Had it been my job I would have had to come inside occasionally to warm up. I invited them to come inside for a warm cup of coffee when needed, but they chose to stay outside, even to eat their lunch. There men were not only efficient in their job, but also courteous. they are deserving od an acknowledgment of thanks for a job well done.
